From October, the Boruto anime series began entering the plot where Naruto’s son will return to the past to meet his father as a child.
1. The Konoha ninja were all fooled
The levels of ninjas in Naruto are classified by rank, from genin, then chunin, then jonin.
For example, during Mitsuki’s disappearance storyline (episodes 71 to 92), many Konoha jonin were defeated by Lord Ku’s group.
Afterwards, all the Konoha ninjas move to `hunt` Urashiki.
In the end, most of the Konoha shinobi were not in the village when Urashiki arrived.
2. Boruto and Sasuke form a team of 2
In Boruto episode 128, Naruto does not allow his son to participate in the Urashiki `hunting` mission.
Thanks to that, when the Konoha shinobi were all tricked out of the village by Urashiki, Sasuke and Boruto were the ones who could react fastest when the enemy came.
3. Urashiki’s distraction strategy
Urashiki used a simple but very effective tactic. People thought he was targeting Naruto, but in fact it was a relic newly discovered at the bottom of the sea, stored at the Konoha archaeological research institute.
When most of the ninja were chasing Mirai Sarutobi, Konoha was like an empty garden.
4. Boruto discovered Urashiki’s goal
When Boruto and Sasuke tried to reach the Hokage headquarters, the boy realized that it was unreasonable for Urashiki to keep trying to attack Naruto, even though he knew there were still many strong shinobi at his father’s side.
Boruto remembered the strange relic he had just found that was continuously broadcast on Konoha television, which was very similar to the symbols he saw in the ruins of White Zetsu in episode 52.
Boruto and Sasuke quickly went to the Konoha Archaeological Institute to check and discovered Urashiki was there.
5. That relic is a time machine turtle
The mysterious relic discovered by Konoha researchers can only be used by Otsutsuki clan members.
The turtle emitted a ball of light, Urashiki entered it, seeing that Boruto and Sasuke immediately followed and disappeared with them.
So Boruto and Sasuke accidentally returned to Konoha in the past, when Tsunade may not have even become the Fifth Hokage, because her face was not yet carved on the cliff.
One thing to note is that Urashiki said that Boruto and Sasuke came out too early.
