In early 2023, when continuing to be asked about not getting married, entertainment giant Chau Hai My said: `If you don’t have love, you can live happily, you don’t necessarily have to find a man to marry.

On December 12, Chinese media confirmed that Chau Hai My passed away at the age of 57. According to the actress’s representative, before that, she was hospitalized in a coma.

3 days before her death, Chau Hai My still updated her personal page and had just celebrated her 57th birthday on December 6.
