(Dan Tri) – The rich man behind the model’s nude photo scandal in Dubai is facing legal challenges because of the controversial gathering.

According to Segodnya newspaper, Vitaliy Grechin, 41 years old, is believed to be detained in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), although there were previous reports that this rich man had left the country.
Sources said Grechin could face up to 18 months in prison if convicted.
Grechin’s luxury apartment in the Ukrainian capital Kiev was also searched by the authorities on suspicion of being used as a porn film production studio.
Grechin, a native of Ukraine but raised and working in the US, was identified as the `boss` behind the recent nude photo shoot of a group of young models on the balcony of a skyscraper in Dubai.
Grechin once appeared in a photo taken in the same hotel room where a group of models took nude photos on the balcony of a Dubai building.
Grechin is famous for taking photos surrounded by young women in sexy clothes.
Grechin once revealed in an interview that he had a personal relationship with former US President Barack Obama, even helping to raise funds for the Democratic politician’s election campaign.
The 11 models in the controversial photo shoot are still detained in the UAE while awaiting deportation.
The 12th model was diagnosed with Covid-19 and the expulsion of this beauty will be postponed.
This is considered a lenient punishment because according to Islamic law, these models can be imprisoned for 6 months for violating public morality.
Alexey Kontsov, 33 years old, the man who appeared in the photo taken with the models on the balcony, is still being detained in Dubai.
Eight other Ukrainian models were deported home but did not speak out about the photos and videos that caused international stir.
`I was asked not to show my face for a while. Otherwise, things would get worse. All the other girls seemed worried,` one of the models said.
French billionaire Stephane Clavel, a friend of Grechin, denied being in Dubai during the nude photo shoot.
`I know some of the girls in the incident. We are friends. They came to my birthday party in Dubai,` Clavel said.
Clavel said that Grechin invited him to a nude photo shoot last week, but the millionaire declined.
`I know Grechin. He is someone who has a passion for photography. He likes to take millions of photos. Maybe he gives the models some wine, so they are more sexy, they have more courage.`
