Business Insider reported that billionaire Musk believes the US should stop providing aid to Ukraine.

In an exchange with US senators on social networking platform X, the world’s richest man commented that Russia would hardly lose the war in Ukraine.

`Aid will not help Ukraine, prolonging the war will not help Ukraine. Letting those boys (soldiers) die for nothing is not right and this needs to stop,` he said.

He also affirmed that he is not an apologist for Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying this accusation is absurd and that his SpaceX company has made more moves that are detrimental to Moscow than any other company.

Neither Russia, the US, nor Ukraine have commented on Mr. Musk’s latest proposal.

Since the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out, Mr. Musk’s SpaceX has provided the Starlink satellite internet system to Ukraine.

Starlink allows the Ukrainian army to have a reliable and powerful information system.

Mr. Musk’s contribution is important because in modern warfare, with stronger opponents, having a strong communications satellite network is considered a strategic `weapon`.

However, Mr. Musk also caused tension with Ukraine when he proposed options that he thought could help end the war.

Mr. Musk has repeatedly emphasized that the best way out of the crisis in Ukraine is for Kiev and Moscow to negotiate.

Previously, Mr. Musk also proposed a peace plan for Russia and Ukraine, recommending that Kiev accept Crimea as Russia’s.

In addition, he said that the four Ukrainian territories that Russia annexed in 2022 should reorganize their referendums under United Nations supervision.

Last year, Mr Musk warned that conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine `could escalate into World War 3`.

The American billionaire does not understand why soldiers from Russia and Ukraine die every day.

At that time, Mykhailo Podoliak, Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine, said that Mr. Musk made a `serious mistake` in believing that if Ukraine made concessions to Russia, that would end the war and Kiev would achieve peace.

Recently, Mr. Musk continued to become the focus of attention when Ukraine announced that Russia also used SpaceX’s Starlink system in the war in the neighboring country.

Both Mr. Musk and SpaceX later stated they had no direct or indirect transactions with Russia related to Starlink antennas.
